John Zumbrunnen is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education administration and political science. Currently serving as the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since September 2008, John Zumbrunnen also holds a professorship in the Department of Political Science. Prior to this role, John Zumbrunnen was an Associate Professor of Political Science at Union College from September 2000 to August 2008. John Zumbrunnen earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota between 1993 and 2000, following a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Missouri State University from 1989 to 1993.
