Liz Davies-Ward is the Head of the School of Allied Health and Community. Liz is an experienced academic with a broad interest in curriculum development, partnership working and enhancing the student experience through innovative and imaginative curriculum design. Liz has a proven track record in building strong teams and is very committed to authentic leadership and the development of staff and students through a strengths based approach to leadership and management.
Since becoming a member of the University in 2007 Liz has occupied a number of strategic roles including: Curriculum Lead with the Lifelong Learning Network, Management of the Practice Development Team in Health, Associate Head of Institute with responsibility for Quality, Partnerships and Student Experience within the Institute of Health and Society and Interim Head of the Institute of Science and the Environment.
