Gonzalo Irisarri serves as an Assistant Professor of Rangeland Ecology at the University of Wyoming since September 2024. Previously, Gonzalo was a Staff Research Scientist at Rothamsted Research from September 2021 to September 2024 and held multiple roles at the Cátedra de Forrajicultura Facultad de Agronomía Universidad de Buenos Aires between March 2006 and March 2022, including JTP and external advisor to Compañía de Tierras Sud Argentino. Gonzalo's experience includes positions as a Licenciado investigador adjunto and Inv. Asistente at CONICET, as well as postdoctoral fellowships with USDA and IFEVA-CONICET. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences, a Master's degree, and an Engineering degree in Agronomy, all from the University of Buenos Aires.
