Fabienne Weber

Fabienne Weber is an experienced Animal Facility Manager at the University of Zurich, overseeing management and organization of animal facilities within the Laboratory Animal Services Center since January 2010. Responsibilities include personnel management of approximately 40 staff members, resource allocation for animal husbandry, and ensuring compliance with legal standards in laboratory animal care. Fabienne Weber has extensive experience with various laboratory animals and different biosafety levels, alongside contributions as a Tutor in Laboratory Animal Science and an interim Animal Facility Manager. Previous roles include MD/PhD Student and Research and Teaching Assistant focused on pluripotent stem cells, as well as private tutoring in mathematics and sciences. Fabienne Weber holds an MD/PhD degree in Molecular Biology and a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zurich.
