Michael Christian Younker, Esq. serves as the Supervising Attorney and Director of the Queer Immigrant Justice Project (QIJP) at UnLocal, Inc. since September 2017, following a role as Senior Staff Attorney there. Prior experiences include positions as a Staff Attorney at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, Associate Attorney at Lyons & Associates, P.C., and a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable H. Matthew Curry at the Superior Court of New Jersey. Additional legal roles include Volunteer Attorney at Legal Services of New Jersey and various internships focusing on human rights and public policy, including collaborations with the Tennessee Justice Center and the Mongolian Gender Equality Center. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Theatre and Film from The University of Kansas.
