Tom Strahler has extensive work experience in various positions within the healthcare industry. Tom is currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Operations at UNLV Health since June 2022. Tom started their career at the University of Nevada School of Medicine as a Systems Administrator and later took on the role of Behavioral Health Clinic Administrator from 2004 to 2009.
Tom Strahler earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, which they attended from 1997 to 2000.

Overview In March 2016, the UNLV Board of Regents approved the framework and creation of the nonprofit corporation, UNLV Health, the clinical faculty practice plan of the the UNLV School of Medicine. The mission of UNLV Health is to provide a premier multi-specialty academic group practice and primary care physicians who strive to provide the highest quality health care. UNLV Health is a multi-specialty practice with over 350 employees, and 5 clinic locations with 151 providers. UNLV Health combines education and research within the treatment environment, and manages the faculty clinical practice.
