Principles for Responsible Investment
Ben Pincombe serves as the Head of Stewardship for Climate Change at Principles for Responsible Investment since June 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing climate change engagements and managing the Climate Action 100+ initiative. Previously, Ben held the position of Manager for Environmental Issues, coordinating investor engagements related to climate, water, and deforestation. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Associate at PwC from September 2011 to December 2014, focusing on audit clients in the financial services sector, and a work placement as a Product Controller for Equity Derivatives at Deutsche Bank in 2008. Ben Pincombe holds an ACA degree from ICAEW (2011-2014) and a BA Hons in Economics with German from the University of Nottingham (2006-2010).

The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an investor initiative in partnership with UNEP FI and the UN Global Compact. Founded in 2006 and supported by the United Nations, the PRI has become the leading network for investors demonstrating their commitment to responsible ownership and long-term, sustainable returns. Pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign/development funds, investment managers and service providers make up the PRI network. Our goal is to grow investor interest in environmental, social and corporate governance issues (ESG), share best practice and support signatory needs in their fulfilment of the six PRI Principles.
