Principles for Responsible Investment
Rory Cardy is currently the Product Manager - Accountability Initiatives at Principles for Responsible Investment. In this role, Rory leads and coordinates the PRI's work on accountability of investor signatories to the Principles, global investor engagements programme, and review of signatory accountability mechanisms. Previously, Rory worked as an Accountability Associate at PRI and held roles at Bank.Green, City of Sanctuary UK, and Rouse. Rory also has experience as an Officer Cadet in the British Army. Rory holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA (Hons) in Politics & Economics from Loughborough University.

Principles for Responsible Investment

The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an investor initiative in partnership with UNEP FI and the UN Global Compact. Founded in 2006 and supported by the United Nations, the PRI has become the leading network for investors demonstrating their commitment to responsible ownership and long-term, sustainable returns. Pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign/development funds, investment managers and service providers make up the PRI network. Our goal is to grow investor interest in environmental, social and corporate governance issues (ESG), share best practice and support signatory needs in their fulfilment of the six PRI Principles.
