Kaela Marcus

Kaela Marcus currently serves as the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager at Unreal Snacks since May 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Quality Manager at Taos Bakes (May 2022 - May 2025), Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor at The Better Meat Co. (June 2021 - May 2022), and Quality Assurance Supervisor at J.R. Simplot Company (April 2019 - June 2021). Kaela began a career in quality management after completing a Bachelor of Science in Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where involvement as a Division 1 NCAA Women’s Swimming Student Athlete demonstrated skills in goal setting, time management, and teamwork. Prior to university, Kaela worked as a Lifeguard at the YMCA of the USA (June 2013 - August 2015), ensuring a safe swimming environment for patrons.
