Seisho Manabe serves as a Design Advisor and Chief Design Officer at Pliant since September 2021, contributing to senior management and leading multiple design teams. With extensive experience as a Design Consultant at UnternehmerTUM GmbH since September 2019 and as a Visiting Tutor at the University of the Arts London since October 2014, Seisho Manabe plays a crucial role in education and mentoring within the design community. Previous positions include Head of Design at Azena, Design Director at frog, and various tutoring roles at the Estonian Academy of Arts and Behance. Seisho's career began at IDEO in Tokyo, focusing on establishing the firm's presence in Japan. Educational background includes a BA in Product Design and a Foundation degree in Design from the University of the Arts London.
