Terrence Tan has a strong background in finance and investment banking. Terrence currently holds the position of Senior Director - Corporate Solutions / Private Credit at UOB Kay Hian. Prior to this, they worked at BNP Paribas for over a decade, where they held various roles including Investment Banking in Shipping & Offshore in APAC, and Head of Energy, Metals & Mining in Corporate Finance for SE Asia. Before joining BNP Paribas, Terrence worked at RREEF as Director of Infra Acquisitions APAC, and at Deutsche Bank as an Associate. Terrence started their career at BNP Paribas as an Analyst, and also worked at Citi as a Trade Finance Product Manager.
Terrence Tan obtained an MBA from Cranfield School of Management in 1996-1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1990-1994. Earlier in their education, Terrence attended Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road), although the exact dates and degrees earned there are unknown.
