Einar Karu is a seasoned professional in technology and research with a current role as VP of Technology, CTO, and Head of Innovation and R&D at UP Catalyst since 2021. Prior to this, Einar served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie from December 2019 to December 2020 and completed a Doctoral Researcher position there from November 2014 to June 2019. Einar's educational background includes a Master of Chemistry in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Aberdeen, complemented by research for a Master Thesis at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
