Doug Peters has extensive work experience in the creative services industry. Doug is currently the Director of Creative Services at Upbound Group since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Rent-A-Center for over 15 years, where they oversaw various design projects and managed a team. Before Rent-A-Center, Doug worked as a Creative Supervisor at CompUSA and as a Senior Art Director at The Dealey Group. Doug also owned and managed Both Sides Creative Services, a boutique advertising and design company. Doug started their career as a Graphic Designer at Newman Graphics and Footaction USA.
Doug Peters attended Texas A&M University from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Business. Doug then went on to the University of North Texas from 1990 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine Arts.
