Megan McKee, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in training, development, and communications. Megan is currently the Executive Director of Training, Development and Communications at Upbound Group since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Rent-A-Center as the Director of Learning and Development from December 2016 to February 2023 and as the Senior Manager of Operations Training from March 2014 to December 2016. Before Rent-A-Center, they held the position of Director of Amplifi University at Amplifi Commerce for a brief period in 2013. Megan began their career at Children's Medical Center in 2005, where they served as Mgr of Education Implementation and Design Quality from April 2010 to July 2013 and as Sr Training Specialist from April 2005 to April 2010. Megan'sroles at Children's Medical Center involved managing instructional design processes, developing leadership development programs, and implementing training policies and programs.
Megan McKee, Ph.D. pursued their education with a focus on applied technology performance improvement. From 2006 to 2012, they attended the University of North Texas, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they studied at the University of Northern Iowa, attaining a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Performance and Training Development.
