Kate Buck has a diverse work experience in the field of journalism. Kate started their career as a Student Intern at CRCC Asia in 2016. Kate then worked as a Trainee Reporter at SWNS and Belfast Telegraph in 2017. Following this, they joined MailOnline as a Graduate Trainee, and later transitioned to the role of Trainee Reporter. In 2018, they joined Metro.co.uk as a News Reporter. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Digital News Editor at Global's LBC. In 2021, they worked as a Freelance Journalist at Reach plc. In 2022, they joined Yahoo as a Breaking News Editor and currently holds the position of News Editor at upday.
Kate Buck completed their education at the following institutions:
- From 2014 to 2017, they attended Brunel University London, where they obtained a degree in Journalism. Kate'sfield of study was Journalism.
- Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they studied at The Thomas Hardye School. During their time there, they completed their GCSEs, AS Levels, and A2 Levels. Kate'sfields of study included Political Science and Government, History, and English Literature.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Kate Buck also obtained certifications from NCTJ. In May 2016, they obtained a certification in Video Journalism. In June 2015, they obtained certifications in 100WPM teeline shorthand and NCTJ Newswriting.
