Amy Bertken

Amy Bertken is a highly experienced software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Uplight since August 2021, after progressing from the role of Senior Software Engineer. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Senior Product Engineer at RxThat, Inc. and as a Senior Software Engineer at Cognizant Quick Left. Amy also worked as a Developer at Pivotal Software, Inc. and contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Writing and Rhetoric at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where curricula for multiple courses were developed and refined based on student feedback. Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Pomona College and a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by technical training from Galvanize.
