Courtney Staufer

Courtney Staufer is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as Vice President Marketplace at Uplight since the company's formation in July 2019 through the merger of Simple Energy and Tendril. Prior to this role, Courtney was the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing at Uplight and held the position of Director of Marketing at Simple Energy from August 2014 to July 2019. With extensive experience at the University of Colorado Boulder, Courtney served as the Director of Engineering Marketing and Communications, where leadership in communications and marketing strategies significantly enhanced the college's reputation and enrollment. Previous roles at the university included Director of Alumni Relations and Communications Coordinator, showcasing a robust background in alumni engagement and project management. Courtney began a journalism career as a reporter for the Fort Collins Coloradoan.
