Dan Saber is an experienced data science leader with a robust background in both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as Head of Data Science at Merit America since June 2023, Dan has modernized the organization's data architecture and produced critical insights. Prior to this, Dan was Head of Data Science at the Solana Foundation, where the data team was founded, and impactful reports on blockchain were published. Dan's tenure at Coursera spanned eight years, culminating in the role of Director of Data Science, where contributions directly supported the company’s IPO. Dan also gained foundational experience as a Data Science Fellow at Zipfian Academy and as an Investment Analyst at Franklin Templeton. Dan holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Economics from UCLA.
