Roni Sihvonen

Roni Sihvonen is a Senior Analyst in Decision Support and Analytics at UPM - The Biofore Company since June 2021, focusing on data, analytics, and AI projects within the UPM Fibres business area. Roni has experience in deploying machine learning models, data integration, and data visualization. Prior roles include Analyst and Thesis Worker, where Roni completed a master's thesis on classification and explainable artificial intelligence with top marks. Previously, Roni served as a Junior Consultant at EP-Logistics Oy, enhancing logistics operations through data analysis and simulations, and held positions as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Aalto University, contributing to mathematics and operations research courses and optimizing colorectal cancer screening processes.
