Uppercut
Eric Argiro is an accomplished film and video editor with extensive experience spanning various roles and projects. Currently serving as an Editor at Uppercut since October 2023, Eric previously contributed as a Film Editor at Petty Legacy, collaborating with Cameron Crowe on the documentary “Heartbreakers Beach Party 2.” Other notable positions include working with director Sarah Dowland on the Sundance-premiered film “Sue Bird: In the Clutch” at Jigsaw Productions and editing the critically acclaimed Netflix docuseries “Emergency: NYC” at Yulari Films. Eric’s background includes significant roles at Cut + Run and Union Editorial, focusing on commercials, documentaries, and various film formats. Eric holds a BFA in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and Advertising from the School of Visual Arts.

Partnering with directors, agencies and brands, the company’s work elicits emotion and impacts audiences. Uppercut launched in New York City in 2015 and has continued to grow its boutique post-production offerings, building out a roster of diverse creative talent as well as expanding its offerings into VFX and launching its partner music company, Racket Club.
