David Schmittdiel

David Schmittdiel is a highly experienced consultant and data professional with a strong background in business intelligence, analytics, and search engine marketing. Since July 2008, David has operated Schmittdiel Consulting, LLC, providing consultancy services in SEM, analytics, BI, and affiliate marketing. Currently serving as Lead BI Engineer at Happy Returns, a UPS Company, David previously held key roles at PayPal, including Data Architect, where efforts within the Honey Core Analytics data engineering team were led. Additional experience includes managing a Business Intelligence team at BankMobile and a Sr. Manager role at StubHub, where significant advancements in BI tools and SEM platforms were made. David holds a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
