Douglas Cushing

Douglas Cushing is an experienced aircraft maintenance professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an Aircraft Maintenance Controller at UPS since April 2018, Cushing previously held the role of Supervisor at Hawaiian Airlines from July 1996 to February 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing maintenance activities and vendor management. Additionally, Cushing was the owner of Northwest Motorcycle Adventures LLC from January 2006 and sold the business in December 2017, providing motorcycle rentals in the Pacific Northwest. Earlier in the career, Cushing worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager at Kalitta from 1990 to 2000, managing a team to ensure the safety and punctuality of flights. Cushing holds a degree in Aviation Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
