Audie Maess

Audie Maess has extensive experience in cost accounting and financial management, currently serving as Cost Accounting Manager at Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. since July 2015. Previously, Maess worked for Tyson Foods from April 1978 to April 2015, holding various positions including Plant Accountant, Assistant Controller, Payroll Administrator, Cost Accounting Manager, and Accounts Receivable Clerk. Key responsibilities included managing standard costs, inventory accuracy, variance reporting, fiscal year-end physical inventories, and supporting process improvements. Maess also developed a standard cost system, facilitated the acquisition of production facilities, and supervised accounting staff. Maess holds an Associate degree in Accounting from Bryant & Stratton College, earned between 1975 and 1977.
