Tarun Desu

Tarun Desu began their work experience in 2014 as a School Representative at Guru Ghasidas University. In 2015, they became the Chief Marketing Executive at EQUILIBRIO GGU and later served as the Training & Placement Cell Student Coordinator at the same university. In 2016, Tarun worked as a Co-op at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). In 2017, they served as a Co-op at National Institute of Technology Rourkela. In 2019, Tarun joined Audacious Futures as a Fellow, participating in a future skill accelerator program. They also worked as a Data Analyst at Bell, where they analyzed and presented data from surveys using effective visualization techniques. In the same year, Tarun joined Upstream Works Software as a Technical Support Analyst. Over the years, they progressed to Senior Support Analyst, Implementation Specialist, and currently hold the role of Infrastructure Analyst.

Tarun Desu started their education in 2011 at FIITJEE, where they pursued the +2 degree in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) until 2013. Tarun then attended Guru Ghasidas University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering. In 2018, Tarun enrolled at the University of Windsor and completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Tarun has obtained several certifications. These include becoming an AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022, achieving the Ten Thousand Coffees Star Networker certification in October 2021, obtaining the Linux+ Powered by LPI Certification from Udemy in June 2021, and completing the Introduction to Web APIs course from LinkedIn in May 2020. Tarun also acquired the Tableau certification from 365 Data Science in March 2020, completed the Personal Finance Essentials course from McGill University in December 2019, and accomplished the SQL for Data Science certification from DataCamp in February 2019. Furthermore, Tarun obtained the IBM Data Science Foundation- Level 1 certification from IBM in January 2019 and became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in November 2022. Additionally, they became an IEEE Member in October 2018 and completed a PCB DESIGNING course at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, although the obtained month and year for the latter certification are not provided.
