Jacob Whitver is the VP, Head of Technology at Uptake. Jacob has over fifteen years of experience in the tech industry and has held various leadership positions during their career.
Jacob started their career as a Java Developer at Friedman Corporation in 2007. Jacob then moved to Cordance Technologies where they worked as an Application Developer II. In 2010, they joined Cars.com as a Lead Application Developer. Jacob stayed with the company for five years before joining DRIVIN as a Senior Director of Engineering in 2015.
Jacob has been with Uptake since August 2020. In their current role, they are responsible for leading the technology team and driving innovation across the company.
Jacob Whitver has a Masters of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University. Jacob also has a BSCS in Computer Science and Math from Roosevelt University, and a BSCS in Computer Science and Math from Iowa State University. Jacob is an Oracle Certified Java Programmer.
