Michael Wang has a strong background in the restaurant industry. Michael currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Upward Projects Restaurant Group, which includes several popular establishments such as Postino WineCafe and Joyride Taco House. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Shake Shack, including Regional Vice President and Regional Director of Operations. Michael also served as an Area Director and Senior General Manager at Shake Shack. Before joining Shake Shack, Michael worked at PF Chang's China Bistro, where they held the positions of Market Partner and Operating Partner. Overall, Michael has considerable experience in multi-unit management, successful market expansions, and brand development.
From 1992 to 1997, Michael Wang attended Washington State University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Hotel/Restaurant Administration.
