Dana Evan

Dana Evan is an experienced strategic operating executive, investor, and board director with a long track record of helping build and scale technology companies. She served as the founding Chief Financial Officer of VeriSign, Inc. for 11 years, as well as a Venture Partner at Icon Ventures for 7 years where she invested in and advised high-growth startups in the internet, technology, and media sectors.

Dana currently serves on the boards of Nextdoor Holdings, a social platform for neighborhoods, and Box, an intelligent content management company, as well as Motive and Pendo. She has also held board roles at a number of other public companies including Farfetch, Momentive, Domo, Proofpoint, Criteo, Fusion-io, Omniture, and Everyday Health.

She holds a B.S. in Commerce from Santa Clara University and is a certified public accountant (inactive). In 2019, Dana was named Director of the Year by the National Association of Corporate Directors in recognition of her leadership in finance, strategy, and corporate governance.
