Daniel Teles

Daniel Teles is a seasoned professional in research and economic analysis with extensive experience at the Urban Institute, where Daniel holds the position of Principal Research Associate, having progressed through roles as Senior Research Associate and Research Associate since August 2017. Daniel's research primarily focuses on the economic impact of government policy on the nonprofit sector and the measurement of income inequality. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Mitigation Analyst at GCR & Associates, Inc., and various roles at New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, where Daniel showcased skills in project supervision and volunteer management. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics from Tulane University, along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The George Washington University.
