Linna Zhu

Linna Zhu is a Senior Research Associate at the Urban Institute, a position held since June 2020, following a tenure as a Research Associate. Prior experience includes serving as a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Southern California from August 2015 to June 2020, and completing a graduate internship in the Office of Chief Economist at Freddie Mac in the summer of 2018. Earlier internships were conducted at the State Administration of Taxation in China, The Bank of East Asia, Limited, Beijing Volunteer Federation, and China Southwest Securities Co., Ltd. Linna Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California, a Master of Finance from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Economics from Renmin University of China, with additional academic exposure through a seminar at the University of Cambridge.
