Tracey Patillo Johnson

Tracey Patillo Johnson currently serves as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at the Urban Institute since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Program Operations at the World Wildlife Fund from March 2022 to November 2023 and Chief Financial Officer at the World Resources Institute from April 2020 to March 2022, where responsibilities included leading financial operations and budget management. Johnson previously held significant financial leadership positions at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine for two decades, including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Interim Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Early career experience at the World Wildlife Fund involved managing financial reporting and analysis. Johnson holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School and a BA with Honors in Economics and a minor in History from Swarthmore College.
