Urban Prep Academies
Helen Gutierrez serves as a College Counselor at Urban Prep Academies since July 2019, bringing expertise in educational guidance. Prior to this role, Helen contributed as an intern for the LGBT Immigrant Rights Project at the National Immigrant Justice Center from April 2019 to June 2019. Additionally, Helen co-founded and co-researched for the NU Borders and Identities Research Collaborative from October 2015 to June 2019, and served as a Research Assistant in the Northwestern Undergraduate Research Assistant Program from June 2016 to June 2017. Helen holds a degree from Northwestern University, where attendance was from 2015 to 2019, and graduated from Saint Ignatius College Prep from 2011 to 2015.
