Bill Mavrovouniotis has a strong background in information technology management, with experience in various leadership positions. Bill currently holds the role of Head of Information Technology at Urbis, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Information Communication & Technology at AEMG Education from November 2022 to August 2023. Bill also worked as the General Manager IT at Converge International from March 2020 to November 2022. Throughout their career, Bill has held several other managerial positions in companies such as AIA Australia, The Body Shop, Metro Software Developments, and Breakaway Apparel Ltd, where they were responsible for overseeing IT operations. Their tenure in these roles extends back to 1995, demonstrating their extensive experience in the field.
Bill Mavrovouniotis earned a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Computing (Information Systems) from Monash University, studying from 1988 to 1992. Bill also holds various certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in February 2022, and certifications from Microsoft and AXELOS Global Best Practice.
