Casey Kuhns

Casey Kuhns is an experienced engineer with a strong background in avionics and systems engineering. Currently serving as Avionics Manager and previously as Sr. Systems Engineer at Ursa Major since January 2021, Casey has also held the role of Avionics Engineer III at Blue Origin, where responsibility included mission-critical avionics for the New Shepard program. Other positions include Systems Engineer at Honeybee Robotics, Electrical Engineer at Sparkfun Electronics, and Robotics Contractor at Orica, where Casey contributed to innovative hardware solutions. Additionally, Casey has experience as a Robotics Engineer at RoadNarrows Robotics, LLC, and leading a successful flight test proposal for the DANDE separation mechanism as part of the Colorado Space Grant Consortium. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Northern Colorado.
