Bruce Haase currently serves as the Finance and Planning Team Lead at the US Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Research and Development since January 2017, having previously held the position of Senior Program Analyst in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the EPA, Bruce worked as a Business Development Consultant at Virunga Engineering Works, where efforts focused on establishing a sustainable business model for the manufacture of fuel-efficient institutional cook stoves, achieving significant program growth and partnerships with various organizations. Experience also includes serving as a Community Economic Development Specialist with the United States Peace Corps and an Investor Services Intern at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Bruce holds a MA in Global Sustainability from The George Washington University and a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University.
