Akshay Gupta

Akshay Gupta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in big data and machine learning engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Big Data & ML Engineer at USAA since November 2018, Akshay is a tech lead focused on feature engineering, model implementation, and downstream consumption of model outputs. Prior to this, Akshay worked at Wells Fargo as a Big Data Researcher and Architect, where real-time data processing solutions were developed, handling up to 500 million messages per day. Additionally, Akshay contributed as a Big Data Application Architect for Cognizant on the American Express account, and held various technical roles at Wipro, including Technical Architect and Six Sigma Consultant for multiple financial accounts. Akshay's career began with technical leadership positions at Velankani Information Systems, Inc., and Akshay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering.
