Stephen Bachran

Stephen Bachran, PgMP, JD, is an accomplished Lead Portfolio Manager at USAA since July 2017, where Stephen has led the transformation of HR’s agile delivery structure into a value stream model and acted as a transformation leader and agile coach. Prior roles include Director of Program-Project Management at USAA, where Stephen managed efforts in Talent Management and Employee Experience, and Associate at Schmoyer Reinhard LLP. Previous experience includes Lead Project Manager at Tesoro Corporation, managing a $2.5M portfolio and ensuring effective governance, and Lead Program Manager at USAA, overseeing $10-20M programs. Stephen began a military career in the US Air Force, where responsibilities included IT management and leadership of large teams. Stephen holds a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University, a Master's in IT Management from TUI University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Angelo State University.
