Product Designer at Pepper

Shirley Chang is a product designer who currently works at Pepper. Shirley has also worked as a product designer at Hearst Digital Media and Cassandra. At Hearst, they worked on a team to establish the product strategy of a new subscription management tool, designing cross-platform experiences for new and existing features for the public-facing video player used across all 30+ HDM sites. Shirley also designed interface improvements for the internal CMS to improve video editor workflows. At Cassandra, they were responsible for end-to-end design for the Cassandra platform product, collaborating with the product manager, creative team, and developers to redesign the research & insights platform to function as a more valuable and seamless tool for clients. Shirley also designed custom reports and materials for clients including Snap Inc., Adidas, Red Bull, Uber, David Yurman, and AB InBev.

Shirley Chang has a Bachelor’s Degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in Graphic Design. Shirley also has a Graphic Design Studio from the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Shirley studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark in the Fall of 2015. Shirley went to Torrey Pines High School from 2008 to 2012 and was in Key Club and National Honor Society.
