Ranjitha Kumar

Ranjitha Kumar currently serves as the Director of Innovation Leadership and Engineering Entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a position held since 2014, alongside roles as an Associate and Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Additionally, Ranjitha is the Chief Scientist at UserTesting, starting in January 2020, where efforts focus on automating quantitative design insights for improved decision-making by product managers and marketers. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Scientist at Apropose, Inc. from September 2013 to August 2016, and a position as a Creative Technologies Lab Intern at Adobe in 2009. Ranjitha Kumar earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution in 2007.
