Seongjin Park

Seongjin Park is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer currently at Speak since July 2025, with a robust background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). Prior experience includes a four-year tenure at ETS as a Research Scientist, focusing on developing and implementing ASR systems and language capabilities for language learning and speech assessment. Earlier roles include Associate Research Scientist at ETS and Graduate Teaching Associate and Research Associate positions at the University of Arizona, where various research projects targeted ASR systems and speech production. Seongjin Park holds a PhD in Linguistics and multiple degrees related to Human Language Technology and English Linguistics from the University of Arizona and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
