Karen Lee

Karen Lee, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Assistant Controller at US Pharmacopeia since October 2018. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Consultant at RGP and held significant positions at Discovery Communications from 2009 to 2016 as Senior Director of Global Accounting Operations and Policy, where responsibilities included overseeing a $3 billion annual revenue accounting group and ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations. Karen also served as Director of Financial Reporting at Fannie Mae from 2002 to 2009, managing SEC and regulatory reporting, and as Manager of Financial Reporting at Digex from 1999 to 2002. Early career at KPMG LLP as a Supervising Senior focused on assurance services in the hospitality and real estate sectors. Karen holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University School of Business.
