Kate Mullen

Kate Mullen is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Data Architect and Information Architect at US Pharmacopeia since November 2007. In this capacity, Kate has successfully transitioned publication source content from a custom XML format to a DITA specialization, while also managing and maintaining DTD and the infrastructure and taxonomy of data within the CCMS. Prior to this role, Kate worked at Living Classrooms Foundation from 2000 to 2002 as a Manager of Publication Support and previously held the position of Assistant Manager in Merchandising, overseeing staff, product ordering, and the design of tourism-related products. Educational qualifications include an MBA and an M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a Web Programming Certificate from O'Reilly School of Technology, and a BS in Mass Communications with a focus on Advertising from Towson University.
