Cheryle Caplinger

Cheryle Caplinger, APR, CFRE, currently serves as the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships and Interim Director of Atwood Innovation Plaza at Utah Tech University since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Development Director at UNC Health Foundation, Executive Director at Alabama Symphony Orchestra and Friends of the Minnesota Orchestra, and Director of Communications and Marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering. Earlier positions include Director of Communications and Public Relations at the City of North Liberty, Director of Marketing, Public Relations, and Development at Apple Tree Theatre, Boxing Instructor at YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, Associate Producer at B&B Business Media Productions, and Development Communications Manager at American Lung Association. Cheryle holds a Master's degree from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree from Ashland University.
