Dr. Debra Sterling Chittur

Dr. Debra Sterling Chittur is an experienced Learning Designer at Utah Tech University since March 2019, providing consultation for instructional solutions focused on active and collaborative learning. Previously, Dr. Chittur served as an Instructional Design Consultant at Remington College, designing de-escalation training for law enforcement, and held the position of Associate Provost at Independence University, overseeing student policies, accreditation, faculty development, and academic support for over 8,000 online students. As the founder of Hope Global University, Dr. Chittur created a virtual university supporting students in developing countries. Additional roles include extensive experience in instructional design, teaching, and academic administration across various educational institutions, complemented by a Doctorate in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University.
