Kevin Simmons

Kevin Simmons currently serves as the Senior Director of Early College Outreach at Utah Tech University, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Kevin was the Director of Concurrent Enrollment at Dixie State University from June 2016 to July 2023, where significant growth in concurrent enrollment was achieved, increasing from under 900 students to over 3,270 in the 2021-22 academic year. Kevin also worked as the Head Counselor at Dixie High School from November 2010 to July 2016, focusing on developing high-quality practices in the Comprehensive Guidance Program and managing graduation rates for over 1,100 students. Kevin's earlier experience includes serving as a Teen Level II Facilitator at Southwest Mental Health's Prevention Unit, facilitating court-appointed classes for adjudicated teens and their parents. Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Adams State University, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from the University of Portland, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
