Alexander Popp currently serves as the Global Head of Sales Operations and Global Head of Project Management at Utimaco since January 2022. Prior to this role, Alexander held various leadership positions at Giesecke+Devrient from May 2017 to January 2022, including the Global Head of Service & Solution Sales, where a new sales function was established with a successful transition to a solution-focused business model. Alexander also led Professional Services for EMEA during this time. Earlier in the career at Ericsson, from April 1999 to May 2017, Alexander contributed significantly to the Service Business Development and executed a range of managerial roles focused on sales support, project management, and product management. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Music Production and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music, an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from Lund University, among other certifications and qualifications in sports and music.
