Jantien Haveman

Jantien Haveman is a seasoned HR advisor with extensive experience in legal matters related to employment law, particularly within academic institutions. Currently serving as a senior HR advisor at Universiteit Utrecht's Faculteit Diergeneeskunde since April 2019, Jantien provides management consultancy on legal employment issues and participates in various university committees. Previously, from 2000 to March 2019, Jantien held a similar position at Universiteit Utrecht's Faculteit Recht, Economie, Bestuur en Organisatie, focusing on legal support and complex personnel issues. Jantien's career began at Universiteit Utrecht's central legal department from 1996 to 2000 as a senior jurist, representing the Board in legal proceedings and advising on personnel decisions. Before that, Jantien worked at Universiteit van Amsterdam as a legal assistant from 1991 to 1996, also representing the Board in legal matters and serving as secretary for the harassment complaints committee.
