Michael F Seidl

Michael F Seidl serves as the Programme Director for the MSc Bioinformatics and Biocomplexity and holds the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Utrecht University since March 2019. Prior to this role, Seidl was an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow (Postdoc) at Wageningen UR from June 2013 to March 2019, and also worked as a Research Fellow and PhD Student at Universiteit Utrecht from December 2008 to May 2013. Earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant and Student Assistant at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, as well as an internship in Bioinformatics at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. Seidl's academic credentials include a PhD from Utrecht University and a degree in Biology from the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
