Michiel Veldhuis

Michiel Veldhuis is an accomplished academic and educator currently serving as an associate lector in mathematics education and teacher-researcher at Hogeschool IPABO since August 2018. Additionally, Michiel holds the position of assistant professor in mathematics education at Universiteit Utrecht, where responsibilities include project leadership for the Panama-conferentie and post-doctoral research. Michiel is also actively involved as a board member and secretary for both the Nederlandse Vereniging voor de Ontwikkeling van het Reken-Wiskunde Onderwijs and the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education, and served as academic director for the Master Onderwijs & Technologie at Marnix Academie Utrecht. Prior experience includes roles as a PhD candidate focused on enhancing mathematics education and as a mathematics teacher at various educational institutions. Michiel holds multiple degrees in psychology and mathematics from prestigious universities in Toulouse and Amsterdam.
