Pieter Populaire

Pieter Populaire is a PhD Candidate at KU Leuven since October 2021, concurrently serving as a Specialty Registrar in Radiation Oncology at UZ Leuven since October 2019 and as a Guest Lecturer for Target Volume Delineation with VVRO since November 2020. Previous experience includes a Specialty Registrar role at AZ Turnhout from October 2020 to September 2021 and significant involvement at Medica Leuven from 2014 to 2019 in various capacities, including committee memberships and student representation. Pieter Populaire obtained a Master’s Degree in Medicine from KU Leuven in 2019, a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from the same institution in 2016, and participated in several summer schools, including those at the University of Cambridge and Cardiff University, focusing on synthetic and systems biology and brain disorders research, respectively. High school education was completed at Mater Dei Overpelt with a focus on Sciences-Mathematics.
