Eric Best is the Vice President, Financial Operations at Vectrus. Eric leads the Program Finance and Controls team and has direct responsibility for joint ventures. He has extensive finance operations experience and will provide leadership and guidance as the company transitions to LOGACAP V and continues its growth. Eric comes to Vectrus after 28 years with Fluor, having previously served in progressive executive, management, and business/finance roles within Fluor’s Government Group (FGG). As Fluor’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance, he was responsible for the management of all Fluor Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Prior to his brief role in corporate finance, Eric spent his career supporting business, finance management, and project operations for U.S. government projects and operations worldwide. Eric served as the Fluor Government Group Chief Financial Officer for ten years and was responsible for their $3 billion/year consolidation. He brings a diverse range of experience to Vectrus, including contingency operations, design-build construction, disaster recovery services, nuclear operations and remediation, and base operations support to the U.S. Departments of Defense, Energy, State, Labor, Homeland Security, and the Intelligence Community. Eric received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mesa State College and completed the Global Enterprise Leadership Program at Thunderbird International Consortium.
